Math Help Services

Funding Models for Math Help Services (Applicable Measures)

Most schools in Quebec pay for Math Help Services (MHS) through school fees. Parents or students can be lawfully charged a fee by schools for MHS, as recommended by the school administration and approved by the school's Governing Board. Math Help Services is considered a document that is written on by students, but is not prescribed as part of the required program of study by the Ministry and, therefore, does not meet the criteria for the right of free use of instructional material, as stipulated in law. For further information and/or documentation about this, please feel free to contact us and we will be happy to provide what is needed.

In addition to school fees, there are several government measures that can be allocated for the use of Math Help Services. Here is a list of the MEES funding mesures and their description. If you have any questions about these mesures and whether your school qualifies for this funding, please feel free to contact us so that we can help you navigate the available funding models.
